All our sofas are built to fit through regular stairwells and service lifts. Also, we give detailed dimensions on our website. We request you to please check and ensure before delivery that the sofa can be installed in your home through this mode. We are not in a position currently to get it crane-lifted through the balcony or any other such method.

WARRANTY: The Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase if the product is used for domestic and / or commercial use.This warranty is not transferable to a subsequent customer if the Product is sold by the original customer during the warranty period. If a defect covered by this warranty appears, Wakefit will, in its sole discretion, repair the Product or the defective part of the Product free of charge or provide appropriate compensation in the form of credit. Wakefit reserves the right to replace the defective Product with fabric of similar quality, grade and composition where an identical fabric is not available.

WARRANTY CLAIMS :

1) If a fault covered by the warranty occurs, the customer must first contact customer service.
2) Any warranty claim must be accompanied by photos of the alleged defect including close ups of affected areas and full room shots showing the complete setting of the Product.
3)The customer must, on request: (a) Provide additional photos; (b) Make the Product available to Wakefit for an onsite inspection.
4) Wakefit will assess the claim and will advise the customer of its decision within 4 weeks.

EXCLUSIONS

The warranty will not apply where:

1)The alleged defect in the Product is within acceptable industry variances such as movement of up to 5% in some fabrics;
2)The Product has been used other than for the purpose for which it was designed;
3) The customer has not properly cleaned, used and maintained the Product;
4) The Product has been subject to abnormal conditions, including environment, temperature, water, fire, humidity, pressure, stress or similar;
5) The defect has arisen due to abuse, misuse, neglect or accident
6) The defect has arisen due to chemical damage.

The warranty does not extend to:

1) Damage or defects caused by normal wear and tear: specially fabric.
2) Damage or defects caused by after treatments
3) Minor variations in colour.

How do I care for my Wakefit Sofa?

A lot of care has gone into choosing the materials that go into making your sofa. With continued care, they will share your address for many years. Please keep the following in mind to ensure a long life for your sofa:

1) Avoid outdoor use and exposure to water or prolonged moisture.
2) Avoid exposure to direct heat or sunlight as this can cause the sofa colour to fade.
3) Keep sharp objects away from your sofa. A little tear on the fabric cover may be hard to repair.
4) If you have removable back cushions (or extra cushions on your sofa), do reverse them periodically and fluff them up while arranging so that the cushion stays even.
5) Vacuum your sofas periodically with a soft bristled brush attachment or lightly brush them to keep general dirt and dust off the sofa and prevent any embedding between the fibres.
6) Try to avoid food and drink spillage of any kind. If spills occur, do not leave unattended.
7) In case of a stain, a water-free fabric cleaner can be used. However, avoid applying the cleaner directly on the stain as this can cause damage to the fabric and fade colour. Pour the cleaner onto a clean cloth and test its effect on a hidden area of the sofa before cleaning the stain with the cloth.
8) A professional scotchgard treatment is one of the easiest and most effective options to protect against spills or stains and keep pet hair at bay.
9) Getting your sofa professionally cleaned once every 6-8 months will not only take care of the nooks and corners that you can't reach, it will also make it more durable.
10) Fibre-filled backs and armrests will flatten with regular use. However, they can be brought back to shape as easily as a normal pillow.
11) Leatherette sofas need to undergo periodic maintenance to prevent cracking or peeling in the long run. Vinyl conditioner or leather conditioner needs to be applied to the product every 3 to 4 months for a long product life.
