What is the expected life of the wooden bed?

Beds made out of Teak wood are considered to be very durable and are expected to work well for a long time. In addition to the natural strength and durability, we offer 3 years of warranty on the wood of our beds.

How do we return the product?

The bed is a non-returnable product. We only replace parts against manufacturing defects. If any part of your bed frame arrives damaged, please notify us within ten (10) days of installation; we will arrange for a replacement. We reserve the right to request images or videos of such damage. All claims for damage ascertainable under initial inspection must be reported within ten (10) days of installation. Thereafter, the replacement for any physical damage reported will be invalidated. In case a later installation is requested, the bed has to be checked upon delivery for any damages and reported within 24-hrs.

What are the warranty terms for Teak Wood Beds?

All Teak Wood Beds come with a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials that have been used. The warranty does not cover damages due to the usage of the product beyond its intended use and wear & tear in the natural course of product usage. The warranty does not cover the MDF boards and the upholstery provided. Exclusions The warranty will not apply where: a) The alleged defect in the Product is within acceptable industry variances such as movement of up to 5% in some fabrics. b) The Product has been used other than for the purpose for which it was designed. c) The customer has not properly cleaned, used and maintained the Product. d) The Product has been subject to abnormal conditions, including environment, temperature, water, fire, humidity, pressure, stress or similar. e) The defect has arisen due to abuse, misuse, neglect or accident. f) The defect has arisen due to chemical damage. The warranty does not extend to: a) Damage or defects caused by normal wear and tear: specially fabric. b) Damage or defects caused by after treatments. c) Minor variations in colour.

Can I uninstall the bed myself or will I need assistance?

Since the Teak Wood Bed is not a DIY product and requires carpenter assembly, self-uninstallation would affect the warranty. If something goes wrong while attempting self-uninstallation, the warranty of the product will be hampered.

Can I polish the bed, when I feel like it?

Yes, you can! Our recommendation would be that you should contact a skilled carpenter for re-polishing the cot. If you purchase good quality wood polish, it is very easy and fun to polish the bed as per your liking.

How can I remove the scratches and pencil marks made by my child from the bed?

Pencil marks can be easily wiped off using a wet cloth, as described in the question above. If there are scratches on the bed, you can ask any carpenter to make a visit and they will be able to help with using sandpaper and polish. That being said, the upholstery SHOULD NOT be exposed to any marks, as being made of cloth, it will not be possible to clean it
